The Vigilante Chpt.OneRain fell hard on the sleeping town, and thunder rattled the darkened windows. Lightning flashed, brightening the streets for a brief moment, giving any looking just the shortest glimpse of the tall, dark man standing on the hill just outside of town. She smelled of roses and vanilla, and her skin was soft as flower petals as Skye ran his fingers up and down her slender arms. She leaned over him, nibbling gently at his neck. "I thought you'd left me....I thought Kassine stole you from me..." He murmered back, his voice a bit shaky. His shirt had been stripped, and lay on the carpeted ground a few feet away.
